Education and Training
Kimberly has been treating patients through holistic modalities more than 10 years. She is the owner of Holistic Health Care Centers, LLC. Kimberly is a Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist, CAM Practitioner, Herbalist, and trained in Healing Touch and Energetic Transformations.
Kimberly is currently enrolled in Pacific College of Oriental Medicine's Doctorate program. Kimberly is earning her Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree. Her anticipated completion date is 12/2018.
Kimberly earned a Master of Science of Oriental Medicine (MSOM) at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in 2012. Kimberly graduated valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Franklin Honor's Society (4.0) resulting from her undergraduate work.
Around 2005, Kimberly began her Healing Touch and Energetic Therapy education due to a strong desire to help people reach greater well-being and healing in the most compassionate and noninvasive methods possible.
In addition to treating patients in practice, Kimberly also offers Healing Touch, acupuncture, and other holistic treatments through volunteer services. In 2017, her drive to do more and give more to others lead to Kimberly founding Ryley's Rainbow through Acupuncturists Without Borders, a non-profit. Ryley's Rainbow is a free clinic for children who have gone through trauma, have special needs, or long-term severe illness.
At NUHS, Kimberly was one of the few students selected to have a residency at Stroger's Cook Country Hospital, Chicago. Kimberly was a resident in Stroger’s Acupuncture Pain Clinic. Within the residency, she was taught many additional treatment methods, not often taught in standard MSOM education.
Kimberly was selected to work alongside the assistant dean of NUHS at the university's posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and veteran’s clinic. Kimberly has also had specialized clinical training in women's health, fertility support and infertility treatment (men and women) and pediatrics Kimberly also volunteered her time with a pediatric organization based on educating the public to help decrease childhood obesity and promote healthy eating. This unparalleled clinical experience and specialized education sets Kimberly apart from many other holistic practitioners.
